Keepers of the Coast, a local non-profit organization focused on providing a safe and sustainable coastal environment for residents and visitors, will host its 2nd Annual Full Circle Fest, sponsored by The Amp’s Green Hands Program, on Saturday, April 27 on the Front Porch from 3pm to 8pm. Admission is a suggested donation of $5.00 per person.

Bike, walk, or carpool your way to Full Circle Fest for a fun-filled day of speakers highlighting sustainable living ideas about alternative energy, gardening, recycling, and conservation. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bag and shop for unique, plastic-free, eco-conscious gift items. Enjoy culinary creations by local favorites Arepa Life, Late Risers Food Truck, and The Silver Bullet.

“Every aspect of Full Circle Fest is designed for a family-friendly day celebrating our community, and how we can ensure the coastal systems of Northeast Florida remain a beautiful part of our local environment,” said Tara Dodson, Founder of Keepers of the Coast. “Bring refillable containers and stay hydrated at the many Amp water bottle filling stations. We’ll also have adult libations available for purchase such as cold beer from Dog Rose Brewing and sangria from San Sebastian Winery.”
Ride your bike and park at the VeloFest bike station to be entered into a raffle to win an exciting prize.

Live music at Full Circle Fest begins with Theo Moon from Orlando, an educational/interactive lecture and African drum performance by Nan Nkama of Jacksonville, and ending the evening with Brett Bass and Melted Plectrum.

Keepers of the Coast would like to thank the following sponsors: Maritime Creative, VeloFest, Altways Inc, Full Circle Resource Management, St. Johns County Tourist Development Council, Brightway/Olympus Insurance, Travel Without Plastics, Recycle Across America, and Cassidie Corwin Events Gardens & Design. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. With each partner, Keepers of the Coast is able to further commit their dedication of sustainability to the community.
Keepers of the Coast is a 100 percent volunteer-operated, non-profit organization working to educate the community on how to protect sensitive coastal systems through sustainable living practices. For more information, visit keepersofthecoast.net.
